The Disaster Contracting Assistance Center (DCAC) and this Web site serve as clearinghouses of information for U.S. companies interested in participating in the rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of a disaster. The DCAC advises companies how to register with government agencies that are providing contracts to rebuild. While the DCAC will provide much information and transparency to the process, it will not award contracts. Contracts will be awarded by other specific government agencies.
